Mang Kosme Proudly Holds its First-Ever Negosyo Fair

Mang Kosme successfully held its first-ever Negosyo Fair on June 1, 2024, an event marked by inspiration, learning, and negosyo community engagement. 

 With the help of Go Negosyo and Alabang Central Market, this momentous occasion brought together aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners to share insights and empower the local business community.

The fair's highlight is an enlightening session led by Go Negosyo speaker, Ms. Marie Joyce Co Yu. Known for her successful ventures, including Chops to Go, Chips to Go, and True Blends Tea and Coffee, Ms. Co Yu shared her entrepreneurial journey, providing valuable lessons on starting and managing businesses. Her talk resonated deeply with the attendees, who left with an empowered entrepreneurial spirit.

Adding to the event’s richness, rising local entrepreneurs from Alabang Central Market took the stage to share their experiences. They candidly shared about the challenges they encountered and the strategies they applied to overcome them.  

It was followed by an inspirational talk by Mr. Alvin Esperida (better known as Tatay Alvin), whose humble grocery shop, "Bodega ni Tatay," has become a beloved fixture in the Muntinlupa community. His story of resilience and approachability touches a chord with everyone in the audience, highlighting the heartening impact of grassroots entrepreneurship.

The event was graced by the presence of Go Negosyo's Executive Director, Ms. Mina Akram, and Senior Adviser, Josephine Romero, both of whom expressed their support for Mang Kosme’s initiative and its great potential to help budding businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.

To end the fair on an exciting note, a negosyo raffle was held, exclusively to the delight of the attendees. Three lucky winners took home CNX IP cameras, which they can use as 24/7 security for their stores. In contrast, one fortunate winner received a Midea Chest Freezer, perfectly suitable for any retail business.
